Teebraks: YoU iNspIred tHis!!!

The hand of the diligent will always bear rule.....

 Swoooosh!!!!!

I dropped my spoonful of spicy spaghetti at the sound of my phone's ringing tone!!!
I had been staring at it just few seconds ago..trying to get in touch with a lady I had been talking to on whatsapp before NCCF fellowship began at 5pm.
‎I had only glance through tosin arowosegbe's whatsapp status and continued eating.i hoped he was doing well....the fond memory of that cocky and goofy young man brought a smile to my lips....*Tee-braks!!!*-as papi nicknamed him!!!

Still staring down at the phone that was just inches away from my half consumed spaghetti!
It was a number I wasn't familiar with calling me....so I just picked up trying to adjust my voice as i had only just swallowed a spoonful of spags...
*Hello ma'm???*
I was trying to ‎identify the voice but at first it didn't sound familiar....
*my boss asked me to make this call on his behalf!!*‎
The voice detector in my mind instantly identified the person!
"Detected!!!! .....TOsin AROWOSEGBE!!!
Ahahahahahaha!!!!
My subconscious and the caller said it almost together...*Tosin Arowosegbe*
Throwback july
Here is handsome mr goofy walking
By as we were trying to take a
Photograph!!!
I was ghiggling as he went further playing the prank of a clerk calling on behalf of his boss!!!‎
I played along too!!!
Oh what a call!!!...Tosin always has a way of lighting up your atmosphere with his ambience when he shows up..
It's like "SSSWOOOOOSSSSH!!!""...‎and crackling of fancy lights and alil mishmmash and alil goof ball yell when tosin shows up!!!
Awww!!!! Tee braks!!!

So finally mr goofy says....
"...So Ma'm can I have a summation write up of your experiences???...‎"

Huh???? Which???
Back in school or now???

He wanted my NYSC experience!!!
Well I keep a little diary-blog and i have ‎some things written???
His call was like a dormitory alarm to remember to write!!!

It's been really very exciting and busy time for me....
With my personal CDS project consuming more and more of me...and my work as a biology teacher....and NCCF ARE/AFAO duties...my plate seem to be well starched with varieties!!!
Varieties that i spiced up with alil of my own recreation...

GYM AND ME!
So I registered at the Gym last week!!!
How about that for alil recreation amidst the work-work-brainstorming-worrrrrk!!!
And after three consecutive days of stretching, squats, sit ups, push-ups and some aerobics....i am sore at different part of my body!!!...
But It was a soreness i expected and know would fade off soon.
I had discovered this place for a while but I didn't know it had a gym in it...i thought I was just a funland for kids but apparently it had more than that...
It was like a treasure in nowhere....
It was great to have a place like this in Are!
I had met pastor Paul Obisesan there to discuss my project and the proposal. he was also using the gym.
So I registered!!!!
Someone needs to be fit. And boy was i glad when the trainer seem very good at his work...
And he even gives instructions on my feeding routine
Atleast this was recreation for me....
My own getaway from everything....even though I am quite happy with all i am involved in now....
#pictures will be updated on this later!!!

TOADSTOOL.......MUSHROOM....and more fruits...
MY NEW KITCHEN DELICACY!
Mushrooms seem to be a constant find in the past few weeks in ARE!!!
And they have come to make a new Haven in my nutrition....
Edible Mushrooms!!!
And they were just delicious!!
Speaking as a microbiologist...So I have been feeding on fungi....edible fungi!!!
And it's delicious....and has this meaty feeling when you chew.
Look what I found this day
After gym hours
Bananas and plantains are a regulars in this side of ekiti...
So bòlè...(roasted plantain are common road side chops)...With groundnut to go with it...
Hence the few pimples that are taking a nap on my cheek....i react to groundnut with a physical evidence of pimples!!!
So the nutritional benefit of these side of Ekiti is quite bliss.....i mean that to say that I have been well fed!!!!

My personal CDS project.....
Talking about my CDS may take a lot of time....
It's behen fun....and quite an experience that has brought me face to face with great and not so great people....its been a wonderful experience so far....
I have become a teacher....and horticulturist....an instructor.....and much more still on the plate....
I will let the pictures let the story.....
Working on the nursery when it only just began
A cross section of the
Flower nursery as they
Began to bud!!! Yay!!
Oh pls teach the kids!!! Thats what I did!
Teaching the jss1 students How to plant a flower
With the students helping to water.

The senior students were helpful
They learnt and they started helping

Let's embark on a project
When I met with HRH Alafao of Afao, his chiefs
And community leaders!

Who needs shoes when you can plant
Carpet grasses.
So they learnt from the new horticulturist!
The amazing thing is all I am doing presently is all I learnt back at home...back in the kingdom community where I hail from in school....from my papi!!!
It was something I learnt at a time of much duress but now it's surely paying off.
Papi had shown me how to plant flowers. It was my getaway from depress at the time as I buried the enormous energy that could have been wasted on crying over spilt milk in planting flowers for church!
I am just reproducing all i learnt under him....
Am amazed at how much I learnt from my papi...and reproducing it is fun and exciting...
I haven't even told my papi what I am doing...i intend to surprise him.....hush!!! Pls don't tell him too ok...let me be done first!!!!
A servant is not greater than His master!!!...but it's expediehnt for a servant to be as His master!!!

NCCF....
Being a servANT leader....
Being an assistant facilitator ...
Well they call it "mama"...but at zenco meeting
It's simply assistant facilitator...
So Ekiti has two streams for the coming batch B otondos....
That spells more corp members in Are/Afao..
And preparation has began even from the zonal level....
In a few days, we will be welcoming new corp members to the community at the NCCF family house at Igede.
It's a lot work getting different people together under one canopy of fellowship. I thank God for the present coexistence between the few of us who are available at the moment. Even though the journeying down to our present state has been an humbling one for me....
I have learnt a lot of of lessons dealing with people and loving them regardless and not placing expectations on people....its been simply a journey of humility....
The lord has been helping me make up for my deficiency in places of inexperience and immaturity....
I am just enjoying the lord!!!!....

And in all i have been blessed with a new family,RCCG shinning star parish iworoko ...new sets of wonderful kids, the school prefects, ss1A students and jss1 students of Are/Afao comprehensive High school ..an awesome Coperate teacher.....miss bolanle Olowomeye...

A wonderful leader and burden bearer, my own Xerxes...*winks*

And to Him who has promised never to leave Or forsake me through all and in all....my saviour-baptiser-king Christ-Jesus be all the glory.....

The reward of a diligent servant is much more than cash...its in the confidence.its in coming to mastery..its in entering into the master's joy(the joy the master himself has).........
