SUNDAY hERE! not a RESTday!

It was supposed to be a peaceful night rest after the carnival....but for my hostel...it was another night of vigil-punishment....!
Our light had gone out at the exact light out time...10:30pm....

BUT...

Many of the ladies were pretty much awake!
Some were bathing...others were gisting away with their bunk mates!...while some were searching their luggage for the Sunday choice of outfit...the rest of us just lay there trying to either sleep or do whatever!...i wasn't sleeping...i was under the cover of my bed clothes...waiting on stable network connection...i had to edit and update my blog and network was a serious heck on my bed!..

Torch light was creating illumination everywhere...the gist was getting louder..some Nokia phone close to my bunk was ringing.....someone from a corner in the room was shouting..
shhh!...*put off your torch o!*...abeg make una put off your that phone o...
Curse words were flying hear and there...someone was replying an abuse!...

*Get out! All of you!*...
The door flung open...and I could here the voice of an angry soldier shouting!
*get out all of you!...i will pour water on you!*
The whole room was instantly in chaos...ladies jumping down from bunk....
Some were trying to snitched those whose torch had been on...
The soldiers were in no mood to listen to excuse.....
Get Out now!....or I will pour water on your bed....

Sprinkles of water was flying everywhere.....
(soldiers really match words with action o)

And so we were out again this night...my hostel and another female hostel.....with soldiers shouting angrily....
We were ordered to sit on a wet muddy floor....
No explanation was welcomed until some minutes past 12modnight when were allowed to go back in....

We returned to our beds with some ladies threatening to point fingers on anyone who has any form of light in her corner again...i don't know who would dare put on light again after all that o.....
.................light out finally!
At 6am...Many ladies were already awake, bathing and bathed dressing and dressed...others were still sleeping....
I was so tired I concluded on phone with Xerxes that i wasn't going to the NCCF service!...Besides i had gone yesterday evening(6pm) for some bible study or some sort(i havent really understood their service routine yet).it was my first NCCF attendance!...

I don't know what happened...but I was dozing half the time...i fought to keep my eyes open by praying in tongues!...Maybe I was tired because of the long platoon parade i was just coming from!...

So this morning after the soldiers came to warn ladies in my hostel to stop bathing in the corridor and outside......i changed my mind....i was going to church!...its the first Sunday in camp!...it will be too much of a huge miss for me if I didn't attend....atleast to fellowship with brethren and also see what their sunday service is like!

Where I arrived past 9am...the church auditorium was already full of corpers!....
The NCCF(nasarawa) building ahead!...it was quite big!
Intercession prayer was just about to commence for borno state...

The service was really cool....an hausa man called Daniel Bawah came to minister....he sounded so much like Chris Delvan!...and he ministered very strongly...encouraging us to stay in the will of God...encouraging us not to redeployand that we should serve at Borno!..
Corpers listening as the man of God,daniel bawah ministered.

Corpers arriving at service...the whole hall was full!

it was quite a very moving ministration.i  had a lot to think on too about redeployment....they had told us when the gave us the relocation form that certain states like lagos, abuja, ogun, niger, rivers were already full.....
Again I am in that cross road of making a decision or leaving things be the way they are....ofcourse my parents won't take borno!....i really don't know where I would love to serve!...i don't really have a choice state! Except then when I dreamt about minna! But niger state, they said is already  full...so what now.....??

I asked the lord to decide for me regardless of the choice of state i had been told to put down in the relocation form(because I know it would still pass through the consent big the state cordinator)....i want what the will God is for me....i also need him to give me the strength and joy of understanding to accept wherever the lord put me!...and the courage to do what he requires of me.....

The rest of the Sunday was quite restful...
I met chigo at mami market...and we stayed to charge our phones as we gisted away about the platoon! Talking with him can be really fun...he is a very funny dude!....and very knowledgeable too....and responding  on the positive side of things...
Glo network here is terrible,i complained to him about my blog...he advised me to do an airtel subscription....he had shared my blog the other day on his Gmail and the traffic had increased....hmmm!
We were both looking for ways to get all our platoon members to start reading the blog....

Well...i am still awaiting the airtel data connection to pop up after subscribing!...

I finally got my transport allowee today...1,500naira...

Evening parade was very long....we weren't getting our parade commands well at all today..
Corporal SMART was frustrated....
Everyone was arguing....
Too many people were correcting...
I was bored and tired!....

It was a struggle to edit my blog.....
I finally did....and took my almost flat battery to mami market...

The dinner queue was scanty...People had taken their food...so I hurried on to take mine....

      *TUWO! And Okra soup*

Lunch today was different!.....we have all been looking forward to it..
....jollof rice and chicken!
...everyone came out to eat!

Water wasn't running!...i needed to shower after my meal.i couldn't get to buy from any of the potters who fetched water and sell to corpers....i had to go all the way to mami market to buy a bucket for 15naira....

This night....everyone was threatening to snitch on anyone who talked or whose torch was on or whose phone ring!...it was a night of serious threat!...Light went out 10:30pm...

We could here as another hostel was being punished for light out rule.....
