THE InTerPLAtooN DrilL-hardwork always pay off in the end

Wow!!!
Today was finally our parade drill competition...
Corporal smart talking to the whole platoon at morning parade!
I choose to believe the day began right when the bugle for the parade sounded at 2pm...
Everyone was preparing...
The day had began as usual with morning parade..afterwards breakfast and our sleeping pill SAED class...this morning, we didn't do any rehearsal, corporal SMART just talked to us,permitted questions and reminded us on our parade dressing and encouraged us to keep a very *close order* during the slow match...
So this afternoon when the bugle sounded...i was sitted on my bunk lacing my jungle boots!...
The parade trophies
Xerxes was calling intermittently...he was more excited and hopeful for my platoon than I was(always thinking victory! That man)...well not that I was looking forward to defeat, i just don't like how excitment push me to the verge of anxiety especially when it has to do with something competitive!...well,that xerxes, faith was his currency and it showed in the excitment in his voice as he asked me....

*how ready is my ++++?..we are winning right?

The first batch!
My platoon is the the third in the picture!

I must have sounded like some flat and faithless gypsy....but mehn does this man have a way of kick starting some atom of Hope in you...i was only trying to play safe and maintain my neutral morale whether we win or loss...
But here was someone trying to get me on the win-win expectation!
i had told him of the rigour we had gone through with the early morning and evening parade drill and the extra hours of training when others had gone to eat and rest!
When we stepped out in slow-time and close order!
Photographer and video everywhere!
As usual,i was out for the joy of having fun and for the adventurous time I have been having..this was a big one....it had taken more dedication, time and commitment!

Photography was everywhere!...People taking selfies and groupies...i even took my own selfies too!...drink and snack vendors were taking spot at the far side of the lines where other corpers who weren't parading stood...the sun was shinning and radiating the scorching heat of afternoon sun.

My platoon in the best parade close-order!

Platoon by platoon,we were instructed to file out on attention...and we stood there awaiting the arrival of th judges while several arrangements were still being done...
As the wait extended....and the sun continue to shine on our faces...it was a terrible buying sun..we were being fried!...
the low-point event of the day began to happen!

FAINTING!!!

Our parade in quick time!
Funny....you can't see it...but some people were beaking!
Two people were in total panic
Shouting from different corners of the parade ground...this one and that one was fainting and Red Cross was hurrying with stretcher carrying them into the van...
Our formation and parade dressing was on point
We weren't even aware of it at the time!
Only the judge saw this and those watching
The most tragic one was that of platoon 2 commander! She fell face flat..it was a heavy fall...even the guest lieutenant stood up and ran towards her spot..it was a terrible sight..everyone feared she would have a concussion with the way she fell...
A guy in my platoon also fainted.
He was caught by the photographer of my platoon as he went down....
When the judges were about inspecting us!

The drill began with inspection of each platoon parade dressing!!
Tension was in the air as the judges moved numerically from platoon 1-10.
My platoon commander made a mistake and the crowd roared in alarm!
I could literally see panic and fear entering like an armed soldier into my platoon!
Corporal SMART as well as other platoon soldiers was afar off close to the judges canopy...he was obviously watching us..he had sent a word through the platoon camera man when many were fainting...
*shake your leg gradually do ease yourself! *j
He was a coach and a father at the same time...
The platoon soldiers doing their own parade after all the platoon!

They were so great at it!
They made parade look so beautiful!
We watched and cheered at our respective corporal!

We were second in line in the first batch of the three batches parade drill....!
(10platoon-3 platoons went first, another 3 went second and 4 platoons went last =10platoon in total)

The band was directly behind us!
The officiating soldier called out....

ATTEEEEEENTION!!!
PLATOOOOOON PARADE!
NOW WE MATCH IN SLOW AND QUICK ORDER!!

When we broke from blame war to jubilation.
It was a roar of a shout....
The whole camp was looking at us

And off we went...In close order as corporal SMART taught us!
I was in the middle rank.
Remember I told you my platoon is full of commander! Two ladies in the rank behind mine kept correcting and talking all through...the lady beside was in obvious panic...she and the one infront of her had missed their steps and they were not matching right....
I was doing my victory move!
It was an annoying mess as those ladies kept trying to correct them....
The two were directly beside me,all I saw in their faces was fear and confusion..they were helpless...and those two beaked at them the whole while...
It was a cat fight after the parade...blaming and pointing fingers...one of the two girls was down..her face was already getting glassy...the other just hide her disappointment in a straight leave-me-alone-face...i had to step in to come to their rescue...
Shut down the other girls...others saw reason with me....
It would take the soldiers a lot to shut platoon 3
Down from jubilating...

But the damage had been done...everyone had lost hope....morales were down except for mine though...i was there cheering the two girls....
Corporal SMART had to come and silence the finger pointing and blame war that was going on.....

The soldier were trying to quiet the already
But when others came around
...it was a completely different thing they saw...
Our close-order was very beautiful..
Our eyes-right was perfect...
Our open-order was accurate....
Our halting was not so great...
Our review order was perfect.....
We carry mind our platoon officer up in
Jubilant excitment...

Everything changed when the results was being announced....
They called it from the least to the best...from 10the to first...
Sincerely i expected our name to appear within 9th and 7th....after all the noise and the blame-civil war!....
Our name didn't come for in 3rd either....
Even the band joined in on our victory dance!
It was suspense all the way....
Platoon 3 came first......
We came first......
It was an unleash in the whole parade ground...
Jubilation all the way.
We just bagged in one of the most important conpetition in camp....
Did I also tell tell you that our guys have qualified for the football finals....
We play tomorrow.....

We won!!!
I also have been opportuned to learn persistent....hardwork...commitment...team spirit!....
All these, corporal smart and the several rehearsals were trying to impart in me....
I wanted to run away several times..bit am glad I stayed and pull through....
Victory feels good....
Success is surely a shine on the armour of adventure.......
It's been a beautiful learning experience...
One of the band leaders..
My friend!
Celebrating with platoon3!

One of the guest judge talking about
The inter platoon drill!
