Omar(an hausa corper in my platoon. Who hails from kaduna)walked me down to the basketball court for the 8pm parade pratice my platoon members and corporal smart had agreed to less than an hour ago when evening parade was over..
We are supposed to have some sort of pratice to tidy up some mistakes.....at 8pm! When everyone else was either getting dinner or fetching water for tomorrow.only very few people were around when I arrived...i just sat on a concrete edge beside the court and watched corpers moving up and down..
When I left parade this evening,i just went to my room to get my food flask and I went straight to mami market!
I knew tuwo was for dinner again....to fia pa!!!
I have been having difficulty toileting so I have stopped taking breakfast when it was bread or yam(i would rather hit the mami market)...and tuwo dinner even makes it worse!
We were served some light-orange coloured rice that was supposed to be called jollof rice and the chicken i got could pass for the chest of some of those girls in America next top model..its was very lean meat compared to what I got last sunday...
I couldn't even finish the rice...i guess i was still belly full from the pap and moinmoin i bought the hausa cuisine section of mami market Immidiately after service(i had missed breakfast for church). The food was quite cheap and tasty...much more than the other places I have eaten at mami(with all the expensive price..hisses!!!)
Yeah...service was great this morning at NCCF!
The invited minister spoke to us about breaking denominational barriers...and it was quite revealing.
Majority went dressed in thandeir mufti....(i had dropped my sunday native ankara print in abuja at Osaro's place). I had just casual tops in my box,the only Jean i could wear with it wasn't with me( i had dropped it at the laundromat yesterday) .
I just wore a t-shirt and one of my white shorts!...i wasn't feeling dressy at all...at a time I was even hesitating going to church...so I just wore my bathroom slippers to church o....
I had a funny tickle when I heard two ladies who were washing infront of their hostel comment about me wearing bathroom slippers...
I just looked back at them...and I mumbled....
*is it affecting you?*.....
I guess they had never seen anyone where bathroom slippers to church before...
I didn't care...i just wanted to get my reluctant soul to church to fellowship before I succumb to the not-going-church!
I felt free in what I wore...i had demystify the on-going dressed to the nines...and mehn did I have a refreshing free time in God's presence is not encumbered by anything.
I had a celebration in my life today...
The celebration of a beautiful month.
The celebration of God...of love!
Of a good friend..*winks*...

Anyways......
Sunday at camp was quite restful.i had time for siesta before evening parade which briefer than the usual parade time.the camp commandant came around to inspect our parade and he was quite impressed .
Everyone was dreading another fire-alarm tonight because it had only being done when the camp commandant was around
I spent time in mami market to eat what I bought at the hausa cuisine while omar chatted me up about boko haram being a political problem.....
After the impromptu parade rehearsal .i just retired to my room. For some goodnight sleep.
