So it rained cat and dogs yesterday morning
...a great cushioning effect for more weekend early hour slumber....so I weathered out the rain in bed....
*thank God for a nice thick ballroom curtain that hangs on my window lintel*...
it often shield the room from the penetrative morning brightness and give the it a dark bedroom atmosphere that causes you to want to longer in bed an hour more..
..so I maintain the snooze mode!...even while i there was a quiet awareness that i have a wedding to attend!...

So as the rain subsided....the wedding reality became more prominent....
The noise of a woman calling at my mum from downstairs roused me from bed...i had to attend to her as my room is first in view to anyone coming into the whole building ...i see them first!!!
She wanted to remind my mum that the bus that was to take my her(my mum)for a wedding had already arrived and that she needed to hurry so she could get a good sitting position!!!......
*so my mum has a wedding too!!!!
It was already past 9am....mum was still busy doing her Saturday cooking when I delivered the woman's message to her!...
The hurry began!!!.....
The bus would leave mum if I didn't hurry her.....so when my dad walked into the room minutes later to say he had seen a lot of other women entering the bus....and my mum had just stepped into the bathroom...we began to hurry mum up.....
It's a funny scenerio when any one of the oyewoles are in a hurry to an occasion ......
Some one is yelling...get out of the bathroom!.the pressure is mounting ..another person is saying the very irrelevant thing!.the traffic in mum's room is beginning to need a traffic light.....someone has something still cooking in the kitchen...someone is angry..help me with the zipper of this cloth,it's not moving!...someone is shouting again and again the bus will leave!....someone is saying things that will likely be forgotten but won't help to pick that very thing up....pls someone get dad out of this room(he is probably lying down like a king on mum's bed now)...he is the ringleader of every uproar!...why is this perfume not pressing!?!...please press it for me!!!....mum is searching and asking for her phone...dad is commenting about every single thing(he is probably the one who was with the missing phone before it was left somewhere)...someone is packing mum's bag together....more commotion...mum's phone is ringing somewhere in the room.....finally mum is ready...then the house is quiet..
normalcy returns.......
The amazing thing about this scenerio is that it was just three of us this time(dad-mum-me)!.....In the middle of the chaos..i had to go and get my gown from the tailor a few blocks away!
I also have a wedding remember!...
.....but first, dad's breakfast must be served!...then Grandma's....then my brothers...In the middle of all that... I had to get transport fare from dad!....and get dressed at the same time....

Dad and kola are reminded me of the fuel scarcity...the predicted the lack of buses, the large crowd at every busstop, the doubled transport fare....and the final late arrival back home.....
I waited almost an hour at the bustop before I got a bus....i intended to pick up mr Tolu first then we head for surulere!..
It began to rain while I was on the long bike ride to akute!....the bike man and I had to make two different stops to shield from the rain..
I arrived at the Adeyinas wet like a rain bitten chicken
....tea was waiting!..
everyone gave a warm welcome....!

As the rain continued...we just drifted into other things....a wet lacey material can be very itchy and uncomfortable.
........hence I got a dry shirt for comfort!
We just enjoyed the time...it was obvious this wedding is gonna have to pass!
We gisted away!!!.....plus it was great having my tolu's siblings play around me
Some beautiful cannot be said....
The trip to jollof rice spot...(chai,that jollof rice was delicious!!!!.....)
The hot and spicy SUYA warmed away the cold all through my journey home...
I had a GREAT QUEEN's worth day with MR Tolu..a very beautiful one...#nostalgia#
I was home past 8pm.....
